With the continuous growth of express delivery volume and e-commerce logistics demand, modern distribution centers require faster, more accurate, and more flexible parcel sorting solutions. SF Express hub required an advanced automation system to optimize parcel processing and improve sorting efficiency.

YJ-INTL provided a double layer loop cross belt sorter solution designed for high-volume parcel processing environments. The system integrates mechanical equipment, intelligent control technology, barcode recognition, and logistics management interfaces to create a reliable automated sorting platform.

YJ-INTL Solution: Double Layer Loop Cross Belt Sorter System

Based on the project requirements, YJ-INTL implemented a double layer loop cross belt sorter system with 648 sorting chutes. The solution uses independent cross belt carriers running on a closed-loop structure, enabling precise parcel induction and destination sorting.

The system combines intelligent control software, sensors, scanning technology, and automated conveying equipment. Through coordinated control, parcels are identified, tracked, and accurately transferred to assigned destinations.

The sorting center is equipped with 648 circular chutes and a dual-layer sorting structure, featuring four packaging zones each containing 40 packaging stations. It employs dynamic weighing, barcode scanning, and item loading systems, achieving a sorting efficiency of up to 60,000 items per hour.

The facility is equipped with 8 unloading bays and 61 loading bays, featuring four sets of DWS single-piece separation systems and a swing-wheel sorting system for automated loading/unloading of large packages and bulky items. The designed daily throughput capacity is 1 million units
